    Hi all,
I am going to need some tyres for my scrambler soon, I would like to keep knobbilies on because I think they suit the bike. Are the Bridgestones they have as new any good? I bought mine used and although they seem to have the origional tyres they are a bit worn and I don't want to (test) them too much. Also I'm not a burn up merchant!! Just want to be safe on wet roads. Any ideas please, cheers, Tone.

    Hi,
I am thinking about some other tyres for my Scrambler, Bike Magazine raved about Conti Trail Attack 2 as they seem to give better performance and still look a bit ''off roadish''. Not been able to find anyone who will do a ''pair deal'' on these as yet.

I've got these tyres on my bike. They are fine in the dry - aren't the all? - but in the wet, on road they don't inspire confidence at all !!! I won't be buying them again as they aren't very good and they are expensive - not a great combo.

Well that's true, but I just try to tell like I find it. When I had my T100 I had several sets of Avon Road Rider AM26 on that bike and they were just great in all weathers.

I don't think the Trail Attack2's will be any good at all off-road either.

Hi mate, I've heard of Trail Riders but never tried them. Distanzia's had a good rep. though.

I had Avon Distanzas on my BMW F650 - they were very good. They have now been replaced by Trailriders that are meant to be better again, not spoken with anyone who's tried them though.

The thing is I know the origional knobbilies look the part, but I do want a tyre that will give me a bit of confidence all weathers, and don't look too much like a road tyre, not that I go off road anyway.

I've had the Trialriders fitted, done about 150 miles, they do seem good, especially against a pair of worn knobbilies!

Darkman, is there enough room for that width of tyre?

    Tone,
I know you sad you waned to keep knobble's, but I've just put Dunlop trail smart on my 15 month old scrambler, what a difference, better handling/cornering etc. and it doesn't rain much in Spain. Pony

DSC_0001 - Copy.JPG Wheels and tyres now fitted, no issues with fitting apart from having to sort out the front mudguard, hope to give it a run later today.
