I recently bought my first Triumph (2013 Tiger 800xc with ABS) and I have a bug in the turn signals. The auto cancel works fine (although I wish it would run a little longer when approaching turns from full speed). The manual cancel is where the bug is. Pushing the button in to cancel does not work. I have to push-to-cancel and then click in the same direction before it will cancel. I have had the cube completely open and all the connections are clean and good. I'm concerned it something with the ECU (the circuit goes through the ECU for the auto cancel functionality). I've scoured forums and the wiring diagrams for weeks...

So, for example, if I want to lane change right, I have to:

Click turn signal right, click to cancel, click lane change right again (this cancels the signal)... and then click cancel again to be ready for the next signal.

You can access this function via the dash and alter the setting.

I’m pretty sure the 2013 does not have that function on the dash. I learned today that the 2013 Tiger didn’t come with self-canceling turn signals so what I’ve got is an aftermarket system that a PO much have added. I’m going to start digging around for it.

Does anyone else have after market self canceling turn signals that require you to click again in the same direction to manually cancel?
