    Hi team.

Yes I've done the search.... so I just want to make absolutely sure, the TuneECU program will not turn of the service indicator on the dash, but the DealerTool will on a 2019 Speed Triple RS?

To me the TuneECU via Bluetooth would be better, but if it isn't going to work, no point buying it.

Please note that my only interest at the moment is to turn off the service light when I service the bike myself, the other bits may be of some use (such as the bleed ABS) down the track of coarse, but at the moment its just for the service light.

    cheers

    Wayne

AFAIK Tunecu only works up to model year 2015, don’t know about dealer tool.

I thought that too but it only seems to be able to reset the days, the little spanner light stays on, count down (or count up as is now the case) stays on in the boot up screen, am I doing something wrong? Can't find it in the manual.

I’m only going by my experience, I had to disconnect the battery to install heated grips and upon reconnecting the spanner light came up with an indicator of 0 miles till service even though it said 5000 miles before disconnecting. So I reset the date and mikeage in the menu and then the spanner light went out.

I have always used TuneECU on my Tiger 1050 - Windows software was free but I just had to buy and OBD cable.
I also want to do my own servicing on my 2019 RS and contacted DealerTool and they replied only yesterday that the latest RS is covered by their software and so £60 well spent. The same tool for my S1000RR cost me nearly £500!!!

ive a speed rs and i purchased a lonelec obd2 dongle and tuneecu and it works fine.
Just remember to switch the bike to "run" (but not start) to get it communicating. You can then start it once that is done.

Works with Bluetooth adapter only. Check on TuneECU face book group, Alain is on there too and he Wrote the program.

My service light was on telling me service overdue.
I looked thru utube for my 2019 speed triplr 1050rs.
My menus didn't show reset !!.
Seemed a visit to a dealer was needed.
I decided to set the bike date to a year earlier.
Horray, tricked it, service light now off
    It really worked
