I have been looking at getting TUNECU and a laptop what do I need to know?

I know there is a lead, only I dont know if Ipads and the like have ports

Would appreciate any advice or help, any experience you have, and ideas or information.

 

OK, cheers Dave, Is the 15 inch screen indispensable? Cos it sticks about another 100 quid on the deal. I have a desk- top which is not old and I like the comfort of the desk, so the laptop is dedicated to the bike only and for this reason looking to keep cost down

 

Cheers DD, only it would be good to be able to bleed my ABS any time and really, having it there in case a light pops up is a strong reason to buy.
As for a excuse to ride I ended up doing 145 miles yesterday for a bracelet for a fiver on gumtree...then I didnt buy it, manic laugh

 

This is something I have to look at
The lockup is 1 mile from the house and no power. to plug in I would need the bike down the garden even with a laptop

 

About 150 miles to Ayrshire, not an urgent thing for me just something I keep putting off that I definatly want to do, question of priorities. That said I would like it in place in case.

So using is straight forward? No problems

If it works off an android phone then, is that cos its g3/g4 via app, where as a laptop would need to store imfo but I wouldnt need disc drive necessarily to run progamme so could use usb stick to carry data when off line?

Looks like I would be doing it on a nice day at front door on an extension so as to keep otimate and laptop powered

 

Ta again Dave when I look at new for 170 ish I am tempted, at least u should have no issues and u get some come back I will look around locally this week we have a few computer repair shops that sell second hand, that way you get a warranty.
I need to spring for a set of hub pullers for the car this week aswell
