Got a test ride booked on the Tiger Sport tomorrow while my 800 XC has it's 6000 mile service, be interesting how it feels on the power front compared to the 800. Never test rode this bike before as I struggle to get past it's looks.

I do honestly think Triumph are missing out on having a sporty engined adventure style bike like Ducati's Multistrada or the soon to be released BMW S1000 adventure bike. (both 150 -160bhp)

Not having a current 1000 or 1200cc Daytona means no de-tuned engine to use, its either the long in the tooth 1050 engine (good as it is) or the 1200 shaft drive in the Explorer neither of which make massive BHP

    I can tell you now.

The 1050 is twice as good a bike as the 800.

It is better by miles in every department

Tiger Sport's seem popular with the sport touring guys.My mate swapped his Sprint for one and loves it.
I'm not sold on the styling but it's a good bike.

    I've been told there's a new Explorer in the pipeline,17" wheels with a 180 on the back,more like a Multistrada.That'll do for me:biggrin:
