Did any of our members attend their local Triumph dealer over the weekend to attend the Triumph Fest? If you did your comments good or bad would be welcome. I attended my local dealer in Fareham Hants and I was so very disappointed. Wanted to test ride the T120 but no demonstrator available for at least 2 weeks came the reply. The dealership wasn`t busy and to be honest I felt like I was more of a annoyance than a customer, no talk about what was I currently riding and would I be looking to part exchange etc. I wasn`t impressed at all, so if you did go along to your local dealer I would be interested to hear how you were treated or what was laid on, for it to be called a fest, it was more like a damp squib than a promotional event which is so sad for the brand. As a potential customer and prepared to spend a fair few pounds I didn`t feel valued at all, and came away very disappointed.

At Woburn I was behind the cafe counter (alone) serving drinks and snacks and getting out on the forecourt as much as possible chatting to folk. We were fairly busy on Saturday, with quite a few test rides. The Speed and Street were popular. Sunday was fairly quiet in comparison most of the day, but then we are usually closed of a Sunday. Personally I don't think Triumph did enough to publicise the event outside of emails to existing owners on the email system.

Managed to find homes for most of the tee shirts - gave the size small ones to some young lads and future Trumpeteers - with a couple left over for the GMU Prize Draw (they now have rarity value). For some unknown reason we were sent enough wrist bands to supply the whole of Bedfordshire and Milton Keynes with some to spare.

Hens teeth comes to mind when the T120 is mentioned. We hope to get a demo soon.

Shame if your dealership weren't very welcoming or in sales mode. That clearly wasn't the plan. I promise you a cuppa and as many wrist bands and balloons as you can handle if you pop in to our place, and given enough enough notice a T120 test ride and a choccy biscuit.

I went to Jack Lilleys on the Saturday. It did seem quite low key and not many people turned up, but the staff were accommodating and I enjoyed it.

Bulldogs put on a band and a BBQ.
There were a few there but it wasn't exactly rammed full.
Triumph should have coincided it with the Street launch....

The event over here was quite entertaining.

Good potato salad and sausages, drinks, petrol-talk and all the new bikes available for testing.
Very motivated dealership (they have Yamaha and MV as well) but Triumph really gets a big piece of the cake.
Always worth a visit. And always tempting to spend some money...

    Pidcocks, Nottingham, Saturday afternoon.
Plenty of riders chatting to each other and inspecting each others' bikes, but little staff intervention and no evidence of test rides being available. No sign of any live music either (as the Triumph email implied), but the coffee was free, as was the vacuum cleaner drive belt with 'TFest 2017' printed on it for some reason ;)

I am on Triumph's " books " as an owner rider after transferring my details from the original owner for warranty and hopefully not recalls, etc.
I knew nothing about this event at all.
    Perhaps I'm not worthy?
What am I talking about? Of course I'm not worthy, I'm Curly.
Would have been nice to have had the opportunuty to go and have a looksee though, not very impressed with the promotion or lack of it.

Plymouth Triumph was good, food laid on with a cuppa, DJ music prefered the band last year but was OK, they are always helpfull and friendly at Plymouth, good crew, good atmosphere, but perhaps Triumph could have given a bit more UK publicity.
