Who has fitted the Triumph dresser bars (part #A9758042) to their America ? Have brought a brand new set this afternoon from a dealership that had them out on display and as they are now an obsolete accessory the dealer just wanted to update his display. However the associated nuts and bolts hardware is incomplete (I think). When I rang about them the dealer said he had two sets and according to him they are the same dresser bars that also fit Bonnie T100 and Thruxton models with the only difference being the fitting hardware. I downloaded the fitting instructions and the bars I'm getting do have the longer 172mm bolt (#3) and that's it. The bolt marked #6 is the one I want to know about. It looks like a stepped bolt or can I use any tensile bolt that would fit? I've got a bit of time before they turn up as they are coming from Perth (Western Australia) to my place on the east coast, reading the instructions it seems pretty straight forward, anything else I need to be aware of? scan0001.jpg

My dresser bars arrived this morning,I've got the longer bolt to replace the lower engine mount bolt and that's all. I held them up to the bike and it appears pretty straight forward, just want to ask about the bolts that hold the top bracket. Do I reuse the ones in the frame or do I need longer ones? Can someone explain what bolt #6 is for?? Enginebars.jpg

Can't really help you but If they fit, with enough thread in the hole, then I guess the originals are ok. If you feel you don't need bolt no 6, maybe it's for a USA spec, don't use it.
