Hi all I own a Triumph Speed Triple 1050 year 2008. It is a great bike but I would like to upgrade the suspension on it. And was wondering if the Ohlins front forks from a 2014 Speed Triple R would slip strait on or would I have to do some modification. Any advise would be very much appreciated. Thanks

I have the 2010 Speed Triple and I upgraded the front forks
I had K-Tech springs and piston sets put in and a complete overhaul of bushes and seals.
Looking back I didn't need the piston sets as the biggest improvement was the springs.
You may find that sliding a set of Ohlins in may not improve the handling if the springs are not right for you.
I would recommend a complete front fork service and have the correct springs put in that are right for you, or if you are set on a pair of Ohliin then make sure the springs are right.

When we were racing (jack Lilley team) We ALWAYS used Maxton, and I have Maxton on my Trident 900. So that would be my recommendation unless you are looking for the bling factor.
