    Hi all,

Having had my 2017 Speed Triple R a few months now I have come to the conclusion that it only has one Trip Counter.

Is this correct or am I just being stupid??

Looked online and older models seem to have a Trip A and Trip B but can't locate it on mine and manual doesn't mention it either.

I'd like to leave one running and reset the second when filling with fuel etc etc....

Can't think of a logical reason for Triumph to ditch this from their clocks!

I've got a '94R so can't help (someone will be along soon with your answer).
You may be stupid ;), but quite possibly not. :)
Triumph have done some daft things in the past, they used to fit a hazard warning lights switch then dropped it, more recently they've seen the error of their ways and started including it again.

I've just got my 2017 SpT R and reading your post made me check, yes, it seems there is only one trip..I'm not too bothered as I never really use both trips myself.
I suppose the fact that there is "range to empty" and "trip time" goes some way to making amends. I generally use the "range to empty" display as I think knowing how far you can go on the remaining fuel is more useful than knowing how far you've gone.

    That's odd then.....
My '94R has all the range, avg mpg, etc, etc, ........+ 2 trips.
May be they had to make room for your multi engine maps. :grinning:

Guess I'd swap one of my trips for a hazard lights button though.
    :)

Yeh that is odd..it's only a bit of electronics and software so shouldn't be too difficult. I'm sure the good peeps at Triumph have done their market research and decided not to put a second trip, maybe that'll come as an upgrade to the 2018 model, which I suspect may come with a playstation for a dash like the new Street Triple, which although very pretty I think I prefer an analogue tacho with digital other stuff.

Definitely only one trip on the 2016+

I've not found it a problem as I only ever go on one trip at a time :)
