Just putting the very last touches to my Trident project now - only thing I don't have is speedo cable and the retaining hoop for it, both are on order. I had the rear tyre changed on Tuesday, put it all back together yesterday then realised stupid Dave had missed out the spacer that goes between the sprocket and the wheel. Back off again, do it properly, stupid boy, should pay more attention :) Anyway it's all back together now and ready to go once the cable is done, MOT time one day next week. Now it's on to the knackered Trophy.

Great job, what do plan to do now; run it or move it on?

Not sure at the moment. I am thinking of selling it to finance my cafe racer project. I also have a Trophy with a knackered engine and about 60% of a Sprint. Don't know really as long as I am messing with bikes I'm happy. I am a tad short in the leg for it really which makes me verge towards the sell it option but every time I look at it I get a stirring in my loins. Life can be difficult at times :) I'm definitely keeping it. No selling it. Doooohhh! Does that answer your question?

Beautiful. What year is it? I am just about to start worrying on a 1996 Daytona 1200, same lovely red!

It's a 1992. the red is Ford Aporto red applied by rattle can. The original red was more maroon and didn't quite zing with the black so I lightened it up with the Aporto red.
