Tom Tom Rider 2. No Satelite

I got the same email but my Tom Tom is a version one that I’ve had a long time, no updates are available when I plug it into the pooter and I’m yet to try it since the email. Hope it’s gonna be ok, it’s got the Europe map which will be helpful for our holiday in Cyprus in June. Alternative will be to buy a new map for the newer Tom Tom so I’m hoping I can get away without doing that.

Yes I had the same message. They said they were working on a fix for them. My totom is 2006 rider pro.

Tried my old version one yesterday and it’s scrap, won’t pick up the gps signal. Haven’t been able to update it for a while now so not surprised really.

 

i can get the signal but it fails to set the time. always shows 00:00.
A bit weird as it does sync with the sats and displays the correct time in the settings but reverts back to 00:00 on the main screen.
This means it cannot display what the eta is for my trip but it does tell me how long it'll take to get there.
Tomtom rider 2 btw.

 

Mine wouldn’t show a new map so I had to revert back to an older map and it then worked.
However, it’s not showing the time (as per previous post)
Unwilling to pay out for a new one as I’m waiting for the new module for the rs which will display on the screen and syncs with google maps
