Edna (2018 Street Twin) is all tucked up for the crappy weather period in my garage. Optimate 4 to be procured in a couple of weeks.

Question is; should I start her once a week and run for ten minutes or just leave her alone?

Leave it alone. That’s like doing short journeys, never getting really up to temp and ending up with acidic condensation in the exhaust, and a “mayo” like substance under the oil filler.

One thing to consider.. if you put it away for a long time, was it given a long run and proper hot oil last time it was started? worst thing to do is store it after its been started without a full heat soak, espially if its done a few short runs.
There was another thread about this.... but IMO if you start the bike and run of for say 20 mins and the gearbox is too hot to touch, then the oil is hot enough for a safe storage.

One great thing to do is put some fuel conditioner in the tank and brim it.
