Have this today whilst my Tiger 800 gets a service.

What do I think? It’s smooth, (very smooth) fast and accelerates really well and feels very stable on the road.

Seat feels narrower somehow than mine and I have to be honest I felt less comfortable than on the Tiger 800. Slight feeling of leaning into the tank and the footrests are either higher or further forward then the 800 as I did feel slightly cramped after only 50 minutes. Not sure it would stack up for long distance touring for me.

MCN said " It’s seen less of an adventure bike nowadays and more a funky-styled sports tourer" I would have to agree (but prefer my Tiger 800).

How did you get on with the screen and being buffeted by air?

I left it in the "down" position as it does the same thing as the Tiger screen if on the high setting - turbulence around your helmet! At least you can adjust this one with one hand and whilst on the move! Really though, no better than the Tiger 800 adjustable one.

My plan is to get an MRA one with the adjustable 'wing' for my Tiger - they 'seem' to be the one to go for. Met a bloke from hull at the local (Limoges) Triumph dealer. He rides a Tiger 800 with one and reckons it a lot.

He was at the dealers for a new rear rhs indicator as the one on the bike had melted from the exhaust heat :eek::eek:

Was that from the stock exhaust? - must be aftermarket - I've heard of indicators and even number plates melting on the Tiger.:eek:

I think it was an arrows, from memory. He put a tin can in the end to try and reduce the heat issue - without success.
