Hi all Relatively new to riding and have a Thunderbird 900 which I really like and get on with. Now looking for something for touring and getting a bit further from home. I don't really want to be spending £7k plus on something I might not get on with and want to get rid of in 12 months. I've found a keenly priced Tiger 955i with full luggage that has pretty low mileage for it's age and has been well looked after. Is one of these worth consideration or should I really be looking at something more modern? Your opinions/experience would be much appreciated.
I agree Glenn, but this was the most suitable forum available. The others were bike specific and the 955i isn't listed. I couldn't post this without picking a category.
All I can say is the the 955i engine is a peach in the Speed Triples and as long as the bike has been serviced and looked after I would not expect problems.
