    Hi All
I have noticed on my 06 Tiger that the rear wheel spindle is in from left to right with the nut on the right when viewed from the rear, all the pics I have seen of Tigers up to 06 it is on the other side, does this cause a problem ?

Hi SS, mine is a 2006 and the nut is on the LHS. It's only an axle and so long as the spacers are correctly located I can see why there should be a problem.

Maybe swap it over when you next check the chain tension? Just for your piece of mind?

On previous bikes, not my current S3 I have always put the nut on the right so when torquing it up this force helps keep the axle blocks tight against the adjust bolts (along with a knee pushing on the rear tyre). If on the left I've found the force can slide the axle back and thus tightening the chain.

    Cheers guys
The other problem I had was that the aux din power take off plug on the left side had no power, all the fuses were OK and the cable to it had no power couldn't find were it went to in under the tank and across the air box,so just cut off the cable and tapped it up and ran a new fused power lead from the plug direct to the battery. Also got to look at the rear brake as it is a bit pants don't know what they are normally like but can hardly feel mine when coming to a stop from about 10mph

Don't know who maintained it,the last owner I think as he was a n engineer but sadly he passed away and it was sold to me by a family friend, when I next have to adjust the chain I will turn it round.
