    Hi
My Triumph Tiger 900 1999, the problems started after I stored the bike over the winter without draining the fuel.
I had a problem with the bike not running correctly . Discussed this with some fellow bikers at work, they seemed to think it was blocked jets due to fuel in the carbs over the winter, and the K+N filter I had fitted.
Stripped carbs and cleaned them replaced K+N with standard air filter, put the bike back together,

Bike started with the choke out runs ok,let the engine warm up,move the choke to mid position engine starts hunting between 1,000 and 2,000 revs open the throttle engine stops. restart slowly move choke to closed position engine stops.

What should I try next ?

    Many Thanks
    Frank

Just a thought, maybe a petrol filter clogged in tank? or maybe yer cured it but got kinked pipe on reassembly, in other words check for full flow, as I say just a thought. I assume yer got yer air screws back in right position on carbs and needle positions. I also assume all cylinders firing. Yeah I know assumption is the mother of all mess ups....
