Tiger 800 Tiger 800 XR to XC

Hi, new here and waiting for a Tiger 800 2011 XR to be delivered.

Just wondering what I would need to do to turn it into an XC (and can you?)

Correct ade, wheels, suspension, beak, bars and risers but not the sump guard. Well not on the 2013 xc model like mine, both the roadie and xc came with the plastic sump guard.

Agree why buy a roadie and convert to a XC when there's plenty of XC's out there for sale.

Good reply Ade - think you covered all of it there. Different to the XR in a good few ways so not sure why you'd want to convert from one to the other when you could have bought the other in the first place.
