Hi have a tiger 2011xc 30000km for 1 year ago and did something like 1000miles at weekend time. During week I am using a battery maintenance charger.

On this year many times I had problem on start.
My first action it was to change battery yuasa YTX16-BS but twice when I went to buy a new one the local dealer tested and said that battery is perfect. He wants to sell but is honest...

When I start from home no problems ever. Battery is full as regulator shows.

Many times after running like 30miles if engine switch off inespected like for example if I use the stand while not in neutral gear I have problems to restart.
Up to the moment I did not remember that happened when switch off properly.

Trying to restart, the noise of the coil and start motor is there but nothing. If I insist then level of panel screen start to disappear more and more. Then I have to stop, switch off tiger and have a coffee for 5 minutes. Believe is needed from 5 to 10minutes.
Go again to tiger and is like new!!!
Arriving home, connect to regulator and in seconds battery is full again.

I know that I have to wait for the fuel pump cycle to conclude when to start, and I wait until no noise.

Any one had similar issue ?
Do I have to replace battery just to see ?
What is your advice ? Buy a new 2018 model ?

That’ll be fine, seller has a good eBay rating, it’s just reconditioned not new, it’ll be just the core that’s been replaced.

If it charges too quickly, this can be a symptom of a bad cell.
