Ticking Noise

    I have a Triumph Daytona 955i, 2006 with about 10000 miles from new. It has a ticking noise coming from the engine area (hard to pin point exactly). Ran it today and after 5 minutes on tick over the noise went and was only heard once the engine was revved up. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Welcome to the family. You really need a little more info. At a guess i would say cam chain self adjuster sticking. But would help if we knew about the bike service history any mods. And what would really help is some YouTube footage of the rattle and try to get a more accurate location for the rattle.

    Please bear with the inmates. Here is the right forum to get an answer. Like i said if you pinpoint the noise area and try to put some footage on here you will be sorted in no time atall. I think you have to record the footage then put it on YouTube and transfer it to here.
