Hi guys, not sure if this is the correct place for this, but here goes. I'm looking at a TBS '98. The front pipes are pretty crusty looking. What's the best way to get them looking good again. If I remember correctly they are chrome stainless. Would a specialist mild acidic [ not toilet cleaner ] exhaust cleaner be okay. Or is hours of work with chrome polish the way to go?

Harpic seems to be the 'go to' solution, but try it on a small inconspicuous area first. Otherwise probably large dollops of elbow grease with added Solvol.
Others may know of better alternatives.
