Hi my thunderbird LT 1700 2017, won’t start when it gets hot after a short ride, but it’s starts again after a couple of hours I’ve had it to a mechanic and he has checked all the electrical systems and said everything checks out. I’ve also spoken to the local triumph dealer, who told me to send the ECU off to a third party to have it checked out because they have better diagnostic equipment that can pinpoint the exact problem with the ECU I’ve also been told a new one will cost about £500, does anyone have any thoughts on this and do they know of any companies in the uk who they would recommend to send my ECU to.
    Thanks Roy

i've got a 2014 TB which has inconsistent electrical issues. Sometimes its perfect but last summer and this summer--either from humidity or heat--it just shorts out, intermittently like it has a mind of its own. Then, when it's not hot and humid it run normal. I haven't had it looked at because wait times at the shop and can't find the problem myself.

Never happened to me, but anecdotally it seems the crank position sensor has caused this issue across a variety of Triumphs. :)
