    Considering purchasing an RR.
I know the basics, but want to hear from real riders; day in
day out life with the bike.
Is it as fun to ride as it seems in the tests?
How is it in the twisties, in town, on the highway?
What was your out the door cost?
What do you like about it?
What do you dislike about it?
What mods have you made to it?
How many miles do you have on it?
What problems did you have with it that necessitated
bringing it back to the dealer?
How bad is the seating position for your wrists?
I'm 5'7" so I'd particularly like to hear from shorter riders like me.
I need to make a decision so I'd love to hear any other thoughts you have on the bike.
    Thank you so much.

    I've had my RR for 10 months so here goes;

Is it as fun to ride as it seems in the tests?
It is immense fun to ride, I would say I'm addicted to riding it. I bought a Aprilia Tuono 1100 V4 2 months before the RR & ride the RR more.

How is it in the twisties, in town, on the highway?
The twisties is where its at its best. Handles beautifully, responsive, light weight to move around & easy to hang off the side. I live in the countryside so don't ride in town or on the highway (motorway).

What was your out the door cost?
£18K list, got £9.5k trade in for my 1050RS, on a deal at £15.5k so paid £6k cash.
I've seen them listed as low as £14k in the UK.

What do you like about it?
Handling, looks, a beautiful thing to own, feels special.

What do you dislike about it?
Dash is slow on start up.

What mods have you made to it?
Double Bubble screen, Evo-Tech tail tidy, rad guards, axle sliders, & exhaust hanger, frame crash protection. May add more carbon in time.

How many miles do you have on it?
    2k

What problems did you have with it that necessitated
bringing it back to the dealer?
The dash wouldnt return to its home screen so had a reset.

How bad is the seating position for your wrists?
Not that bad. I don't really think about it once moving at speed plus you get some wind support. I don't ride in town or traffic.

I'm 5'7" so I'd particularly like to hear from shorter riders like me.
    5'11', 90kg. Great fit.

My best set-up is to ride in Sport Mode with the suspension in comfort setting, which results in good road holding with instant drive out of the corners.

I’ve just bought one yesterday, which hopefully picking up next week. I can confirm the new prices are very nearly as low as quoted with a little haggling.
