I got the Triumph tank protector kit, just so happened it was on sale so £18 rather than £40. It’s great, you hardly notice it

 

These are the ones maybe not right for your bike but nearly invisible once on. Wouldn’t pay the full price but worth it on their flash sales

 

When i got my bike the previous owner had covered it in the "Clear" Triumph protector kit,after a while i decided to take it off as you can't polish it, so it sticks out like a sore thumb when you polish everywhere else. plus depending on the light the edges make it look like you have a scratches on your bike..If you are going to put any protector on i would put on something that looks like a protector rather than the IMHO the Horrible clear stuff!

My stuff is gloss so is shiny and I hardly notice it, maybe the colour of the tank makes a difference.

 

Here’s my triumph clear film protector.
Looks alright to me, no glue to remove when taken off, not that I’ve needed to remove it yet. it’s been on for 2 winters, ok not my main bike but it does get used
