Can anyone recommend a good tail bag to go onto the rear seat . I basically want one that fits well onto my 2019 triple rs. Ideally it needs to look the part and do the job. I'm not keen on a rucksack for my commute because sometimes i end up carrying a bit of weight .

I use a 15l Givi tanklock tankbag for quite some time. It's held off the tank, so no rubbing and it's easy and quick to get on and off

+1 from me. Pleased with the Givi tanklock bag on my 2016 Speedy.

I'm opting for the Sportrack from Hepco & Becker but haven't yet received it. I was dubious about the tailpack because they're mostly a little small and almost all rely on underseat straps which I suspect are not entirely convenient unless left in place and I suspect will inevitably cause chafing of the paintwork unless used with extreme care.
I don't much like the way the available pannier racks attach to the bike and when not in use, they don't look great either.
The sportrack is simple to install - just remove the seat hump or pillion seat and it clicks in place in an identical fashion. It also has the option of an extended base, which I will go for and thus the flexibility of a platform onto which you can strap any number of bags - I have a 30l Kriega buy may also use holdalls etc depending on how much I need to carry. When you're done with it - it comes straight off and the seat hump/pillion seat can be swapped back in around 30 seconds . . . not much use if you're planning on carrying a pillion but then the same would apply to a tailpack
