Going really non technical here but as long as the techo has the same colour face as your speedo then it should fit fine. Early ones need to be white, later ones need to be black.

regards this tacho lead just read its a y shape connector whats actually involved in fitting it to the coils etc
Is the tacho a direct fit or does it also need fettling

I'm going to look at an America on Friday, if I buy it i think that this could be my first mod. Don't tell the wife though she thinks I'm spending too much as it is.
    Cheers Andy.

Well I've gone and done it, let the cleaning and polishing begin. I think I'm going to have to remove the wheels to clean them properly so that may have to wait for now. I've ordered a review counter so once it arrives I'll be looking for the fitting kit.
Pictures to follow, we all like pictures.....

I have one of those lifts. It's great for cleaning / lubing the chain, oil changes and having the weight of the bike of both wheel for storage over winter and for working on the bike when on the hydraulic lift bench etc etc

Does the lift go under the frame somewhere to lift a wheel off the ground, looking at the pictures I can't quite get my head round how it works
