    T100 2015 year.

I have done a few mods on my recently acquired bike. My next minor mod was replacing the OE brake hoses with braided items. I have watched a few you tube videos and thought I would go for "Heli" hoses. It seems their site does 7 versions but nothing covering a 2015 model.

I sent them a mail but they haven't bothered replying so far.

So for those that have done this simple upgrade, which manufacturer did you use.

Other helpful comments welcome. I do intend doing a brake disc and pad upgrade at a later date.

    Are Goodridge still in business?
They were the name for braided lines years ago.
No experience of any kind personally though.

Your current hoses are braided - they certainly are on the air cooled bikes - and good for at least 3 yrs. Hel can certainly sort you.....as can any reputable firm with a pattern to copy.
If you want bling, fair enough, but functionally there is no rush.

Thanks Curly, yes they are in business.

For some reason I find a number of sellers but they have dates of fit ending in 2014. Why no later models like mine?

Well didn't realise that. In that case it alters my thinking on the subject. With the black outer sheathing I assumed (wrongly) that they were not braided.
    Thanks for the info.

Well I have nothing to compare it with, and even if I had I wouldn't have realised.
I don't know when triumph changed over to braided hoses. But its nice to be told they are braided.
    Thanks

Don't understand changing braided hoses for the same. Unless they are damaged or you want a colour. Or stainless even then you need to make sure they have a clear sleeve so they don't rub the bike and even then you will see yous hoses turn yellow. I never change my hoses as I think they are as good as anything you replace them with.

Hi Joe, Now I know they are braided ( I didn't at the time of starting this thread) they are staying in situ.

That is good enough for me I just thought you might have wanted coloured or braided look. But just enjoy the bike and if not happy with the brakes try different pads. When I can fine Ferodo I always use them but they are hard to find.

Hi Joe, Was thinking of trying some more aggressive pads. Maybe HH, I know it will shorten the life of the disc's but I have been used to excellent brakes on my other bikes.

Nothing wrong with that. Your bike and you have to use what's good for you and makes you feel safer.

Yes Hel customer response ( lack of it) surprised me. So many good reports regarding their products.
