Thought I would maintain a retro look and begged for a pair of Stylmartin Continental boots for my birthday - To be honest, I'm finding them difficult to adapt to after the flexible "Desert Storm" military boots I've got accustomed to........

They'll probably get more flexible as you wear them! Beware tho' our resident fashionista Qwok Orang will be on at you as to how you wear them!!

Any of you seen the film "Kinky Boots"? Funny as fuck and quite touching as well. Story of a survivor of the "Boot and shoe" industry in Northants. True story as well.

There was a stage show highlighted in last Sunday's "Sunday Brunch", where a Northampton shoemaker started making women's shoes for men, to avoid going under.....I assume it's the same?

All things considered. I think that is a pretty unfortunate turn of phrase. 'Going under' indeed!
