Having been to Sturgis four times now, it's a place that you must put on your bucket list. It's everything you think it is, and more.
Well living in England and seeing Sturgis on a video many years ago, I thought I'm going there. I love it, so many sights and sounds. Would have gone a few years ago, but for Covid buggering everything up. Thinking about the 85th Anniversary. Well I can but dream.
I went once several years ago. Two buddies and myself, we did the entire experience for a few days and enjoyed it. A few days was enough though. We spent another week riding to Montana and Idaho and had more fun doing those trips. Everybody should go there once or twice. Fun but not nearly enough to be a regular thing for me.
I'm with you. Always liked Daytona better. More places to stay, eat, etc and a heck of a lot closer for me. But the scenery up around Sturgis is fantastic. Always surprised how many people cross the pond to attend Daytona.
I'm one of them. Sturgis 4 times, Daytona just once. Out of the two, you can guess which one I like best.
Daytona is on my list. I had a buddy that went every year. He always asked me to go but it was always a busy time at work for me. He's gone now, I shuda went with him to the event. Years ago when I went to Sturgis, lodging was at a premium. We rented a cabin probably six months or so in advance just to get one close.
