Newbie here so can't start threads yet and this is the closest thread I could find to my issue.
We have a 2012 Tiger Explorer 1200 that is a little soft on the handling two up, but when I went to adjust the suspension The pre-load adjuster knob was stuck fast, I can't turn it either way, except for a couple of mm.

I don't want to get heavy with a pair of grips and I've doused it in WD40, but it still doesn't budge!

    Any ideas appreciated.

@Grandad's Mug if its anything like the tiger 800 shock

unfortunately it getting seized is quite common, the clicks stop and then they seize through lack of use. Try using a socket on it and turning it backward and forwards using a bit more pressure each time and see how you go.
Probably, looking at the age and assuming there's a few miles on it it might be worth replacing anyway as it's probably a bit knackered overall.
