OK Quick one (snigger!!). Anyone know the best way of removing the stickers Triumph have plastered over the top of the tank (Sprint GT)? It's on a 10 plate, will I be left with different coloured paint if I do it? Anyone else managed it?
Just trying to clean it up a bit and not too keen on the 10 reams of writing/diagrams on there telling me I need to wear a helmet/put unleaded in it/not dangle helmets from the handlebars/run it in (it's got 30,000 on it LOL)

I took the stickers off of my 2011 Speed Triple (the running in ones and helmet ect) they were easy to take off and cleaned up ok.

Shouldn't be an issue but there may be a bit of a paint difference if the bike has spent a lot of time outside.

Give it 30 years and people will be paying £50 just to get the set of original stickers that we all took off the bikes

No probs, how did you take em off? warm them with a hairdryer? or just peel and clean off?

I used the highly technical method of using my fingers to take them off

Hair-drier is normally the best way if they won't peel off

I was slightlly worried about removing the tank sticker on my Speedie as the handbook said some stickers may be laquered, eventually bit the bullet and and just picked at a corner...came off nice n clean
