Scrambler Steering Lock Cap Broke, Read The Response.

    Company I bought this bike from is always good to me.
    This morning the cap that should really spring on the down action instead of the up broke at the clasp.
    To my amazement I was informed that to replace it is a major job as its part of the lock assembly.
    So all of it has to be replaced and reconfigured to my keys.
    A £2 plastic crappy cover is an integral part of the lock. Someone's having a giraffe!
    I am looking at designing a 3d model of a retro clip to get over the problem as I'm sure the next one will break sooner or later.

    Contacted Triumph UK about how they can build a very nice bike but still use little badly designed parts like they were in a rush to finish the model for production.
    They informed me this incident was the first and would not be changing the cap at this point in time.
