I have just bought a 95 Sprint. When it is on the centre stand both wheels are on the floor. Is this normal?

The bike has the 17" wheels and the rear wheel spindle appears to be in the right place.

    Thanks

Yes can depend on a few things like tyre profiles, suspension settings which stand is fitted etc

My Trident went through a phase of keeping both wheels on the ground while sitting on its centre stand. It happened when on holiday up Fort William way the first summer that I had it (1996) and the stand was replaced under warranty when we got home. The mechanic at the dealer reckoned it was a combination of the luggage weight and me pushing it off the stand whilst sitting astride it. I never have been a lightweight!!!!
I appreciate that the above may not be completely helpful.:(

I was thinking dog bones but not to jack up but to lower. The only thing is I can't find any posts relating to dog bones, or find alternative dog bones to purchase which would suggest that it doesn't happen?

Generally Lowering is done by inverting the pivot for the rear axle ( turning the axle to the top ) or fitting a shorter rear shock and dropping the forks through the yokes to keep the bike level.
