    Morning Gents,

I am working on a 2000 Sprint RS. I received the bike complete and not running because of a scored head. I was also given a replacement head from a bike with about 10k miles on it. It supposedly also came off a 2000 sprint. Id like to proceed and put her all back together but there are some differences in the head I am noticing. The silver is the head currently on the bike ready to be removed, the black is the replacement. The exhaust ports are different, and there are some other minor differences such as temp sensor being in a different spot ( I wasn't concerned about this because the plug is the same etc. ) The stock head is scored where the cam rests inside the clamp closest to the gear on the exhaust side. The clamp in that spot is also pretty badly scored which you can see in the pic. I am not sure how to proceed. Wondering if the stock head can be resurfaced and reused (the scoring on it isn't as bad as the clamp)? Or should I try to find an exhaust header to fit this replacement head if possible? Or do I need to just find a new head all together? Ahhhhhh lol
