Ordering the things I need to finish my motor swap on my 2000 Sprint RS and contemplating the exhaust. I dont mind the way this looks but it seems to resemble a factory exhaust on these bikes but I have no idea if this is stock or not. I haven seen many with the fiber on stock exhausts. Where the exhaust clamps it does say Triumph but says not for road use etc. When considering upgrades do we think I need one? Or is this factory?

That could well be a high level TORS exhaust, the Triumph race one.
Is it marked up as Triumph?
The standard exhaust will have been a stainless, low level can like this one

Can't remember whether it was a carbon or steel Triumph Off Road can on an RS I test rode years ago. Anyhow I've never known an exhaust note drone as much as that one did. Spoilt the ride.

I've had a TOR can on a lot of Triumph models over the years, but that one I remember above all others from a sound point of view.
