    Today I am catching the train to Leicester to catch up with my 2 sons, 1 of which completed the Appalachian Trail on his ownsome, earlier this year.
    We are meeting up at Walkers pie shop for a pie and mash dinner followed by lashings of ale at as many boozers as I can manage.
    Looking forwards to a great day of conversation, proper grub and plenty of ale, excited as a kid at Christmas!

    A great time was had by all thanks.
    Pie and mash was delicious and ensured a sensible initial rate of booze consumption which increased steadily through the day until saturation point was achieved!
    I'm feeling remarkably well this morning as a bonus, not sure about the lads though, last seen outside The old Horse on London Road while I headed off to the railway station
    A day to look back on in the future for sure, happy days!

    Glad you had a nice time. I'm taking my kids (ages 40 & 37) to Berlin in February for a weekend of beer and bratwurst. It's always nice to spend time with your little ones.;)
