Speedmaster Gear Lever Position

I recently bought a new Bonneville Speedmaster (the model name for the new 2018 1200cc Speedmaster) and the dealer said they could fit the controls from the Bobber. So I test ride both bikes then decided to go with the Bobber's straight handlebars but keep the forward controls of the Speedmaster. Obviously these options don't apply if you are thinking of the 2017 and earlier Speedmaster which is quite a different bike.

 

I'm also 5'6" and had the floorboards with heel/tow shifter installed on my new speedmaster, very comfortable and no problem reaching. Also considering one up one over risers from motone to bring the bars a bit back.
