Hi. New member here. Question; I have a 2020 speed twin.I have broad shoulders and I find the bars to be a bit narrow. Ideally, I would like a bar that’s about 2” wider, and a bit more height and pullback. I’m 5’10”, 31” inseam. Someone suggested LSL superbike bars. I’ve emailed Speigler twice but have received no response. Anybody on here with some real-world experience on this? Thanks.
Loads of sellers on ebay etc, just Google LSL superbike bars. Or try renthal, many different styles available.
Dtsaros Welcome to the family. Do hit the upload a file and show us all the bike. Also do ask your dealer as there may be a kit out there for the bike. Joe
Hi @Dtsaros , Not my bike but a friend of mine, had exactly the same idea on the same 20 plate bike and he's around your dimensions. Here's a picture of what he changed to (if I can find them). Edit added. IIRC his intention wasn't the same as yours though as I think he wanted a more racy position rather than relaxed.
Welcome aboard I did a similar conversion but from Street Cup ace handlebars to Renthal Street Twin like bars for a more upright riding position. I would suggest finding the right LSL or Renthal bar size that suits you and then consider the work involved below, particularly when using non standard Triumph bars. https://www.thetriumphforum.com/threads/street-cup-handlebar-change.11715/page-4#post-607562 All the best Geoff
