Always like a good forum for the help and knowledge that they bring .

Having just bought a low mileage used white 2016 less than 2000 miles - my first trumpet , with a few extras.
Arrows , Gilles rear sets , RnG crash bungs , decent black shorty leavers and all the usual stuff as well such as quick shifter , not sure if these is an optional extra's from triumph or if all later editions have them fitted.

Part ex'd my RC8R for it so hoping it is as good or better , because that was an amazing bike , but with age at just under the national speed limit and riding mates now on adventure bikes or street bikes I was the only sports bike and found the slower riding dodgy road surfaced back lanes getting a bit much of a handful for me and the poor RC8R.
Also have a little klx450r that comes out now and again for blasts around and about local to me.

I Had a little hundred mile blat out after picking it up before going back to work.

The weather was bad rain , lots a wind (not me) infact usual cold wet n windy day out, first impression was great , no panics , the riding modes seem to be ok road setting seems to be easiest to leave it in although I didn't notice any real differences as only plodding (ish).

I Purchased it from teasdales m/cycle's in Thirsk and can honestly say these guys n girls are professional helpful and just all round good people ro deal with.
They impressed in every area Ive bought things from them before - again all good experiences , they also cared for my ktm and hopefully will care for my triple as well when the time comes for servicing etc etc.
You hear so many bad things about dealers I just had to say what a good experience I had.

Anyways I waffle on a bit (as you probably have worked out by now )

What my one liner opening was going to say was

Hello nice to be here - off for a look about on here.

Hi mate, like you I am new to the site and have recently bought a new speed R, you mention you have Giles rear sets fitted? What are these like and can you adjust the height I was thinking of adding some of these, are your cans the arrow high swat twin? And what make are the short levers you have fitted.

    Hope you enjoy the bike!!

I must agree the dealer I used to purchase the bike was OK seemed realy good and gave me a great deal, but just been back for the 500 mile service and asked them to fit a evotech tail tidy, when I got home I noticed some loose wiring, I looked on the evotech web site and found they had not installed as per instructions, I had to take the whole thing off and re fit, also there is a small bolt missing from the underplate fixing, wish I had installed from scratch myself, just makes you wonder how good the service was? I will be going elsewhere for the 6000 service.
