I was riding home from Arlesford, Hampshire to Merseyside yesterday and decided to stop at the Midway Truck Stop on the A41/A49 at Prees Heath for a cuppa. There were two Speed Triples parked up so I parked my Scrambler next to them, and by the time I'd got my tea another S3 had rolled up. Possibly early evening is S3 time in that part of the world, but I sure felt that I was one cylinder short of a picnic yesterday.

why the name bsatrev, what do you or did you have?? I started (legally) on a BSA Starfire then had an A65 Rocket, great bike loved it , should never have sold it but I did ,part chopped for a new Bonnie in 78,big mistake, one of the USA spec bronze and gold ones with the brown seat, even bigger mistake, lol. Still love BSAs but the prices are silly these days

Hi Sprintdave, I did have a Beesa when I joined the forum, it was a 1969 A50R in unrestored condition. A nice bike to ride slowly around on, had it for seven years and fancied a change. Part exed it against the T140E in my avatar pic. I still fancy a Beesa 250 single though as I had a 250 Street Scrambler a decade or so back, nice little bike. But I suspect the prices for these are beyond silly now.
