Speed Triple 2016 Handlebar Repositioning

I'm thinking of raising the handlebars slightly for a more comfortable riding position.
All I'm planning to do is to rotate the bars in the clamps a few degrees however this will mean the Triumph motif on the bars would then not align with the cutout in the clamp. Looking at it, I reckon I can turn the clamp around 180° to realign it.

Has anyone tried this?

 

I'll have a crack at it tomorrow and see how it works out.

So I swapped the handlebar clamp around and rotated the bars a few degrees.

This has raised the grips slightly, probably around 20mm.

This feels a much more comfortable position for me but I've only taken her around the block. The proof will be on a longer trip, but as it stands I'm pleased with this quick and simple adjustment.

Bar ends now sit slightly higher at the grips. Around 20mm at a guess.
