Wonder how far my VStrom and I would get on this course.

I wish I could ride like that. Strangely enough I fancy a go on one of these enduro bikes, but not on this course, something very much easier.

Go for it Nikki, life's to short and fickle at the minute to have dreams and wants, it's not about the falling off it's about landing in style :D:p

    Or landing in mud. :joy:
There’s a place down south that does dirt bike training. I might take a look later in the year. Itchy Boots (Noraly) went there and it looked a lot of fun.

Some of those climbs are more like a trails bike course! Would love an enduro bike but wouldn't be tackling stuff like that o_O

Graham Jarvis has been the British Trials Champion five times, won the Scottish six day trials 4 times and the Scott trial 9 times no wonder he makes it look easy.
Put him on a Honda c50 and he'd still make it look easy.

Those type of tricky bits, are best negotiated with an ultralight 125 to 250cc 2-stroke. Where you can muscle the bike into doing what you want it to do. I do miss that kind of riding, but at 61 years old I don't think I would do as well as I did when I was 18. On my mountain bike I still enjoy the technical stuff, but get off and push through the really hairy stuff:eek:
