Ok I need to remove the sissy bar on the Thunderbird as I'm going to fit a top box.
    I have a Kappa 48L one :)
So simple job you would think undo four bolts , remove sissy bar .... Simples.
No one bolt seize and the others I reckon had the dreaded thread lock on.
Went looking for the hot air gun I use when decorating ( prefer that to a blow torch )
So can't find the hot air gun, eventually get 3 of them out with a bit of cursing of course.
Last one is a different matter, not enough room to get the impact hammer in ... Ohhhh sugar.
Ok lateral thinking can I get the drill in and put it onto hammer mode to apply a bit of pressure onto it.
So start with small drill bits to work up to the meatier ones :)
Ohhhh sugar again 4mm drill bit snaps in the bolt. Think you are getting the idea by now :)
Long story short I got it out, just need to buy some bolts as the triumph ones screw into the frame of the sissy bar, so hardware store later with the knackered bolt to get the approximate size required.
I will use brass nuts thou for when it comes to undoing it in the future as I surely will want to.
Morale of the story don't believe there is such as thing as quick release :D

More like frustration :) getting angry doesn't work.
In the end it was a mixture of methods such as hammer and screwdriver to get it moving then using the torx bit trick ( over size one hammered in )
Some times tools just get abused
