Fitted a tail tidy late last year and noticed recently the back of my jacket and helmet really wreak of exhaust fumes. Bike has high level Arrows fitted with the correct tune installed and the baffles in. Thought I would try it yesterday with the original scaffolding tail back on. After a good 120 mile run, there was no hint of exhaust smell on my jacket. It must be something to do with the air disturbance.

    Has anyone else experienced this?

I've read that is a problem, been thinking about a tail tidy but i'll just have to decide if it's worth smelling just for the look!

Yep, I reek of exhaust fumes everytime i ride, but it doesn't bother me, it's a sacrifice im willing to live with for a ridiculously sexy looking arse! (The bikes).

Haven't noticed to be honest. Perhaps you should go a bit quicker to escape the fumes!!!

Funnily enough, mate said that to, along with flies hitting the back of my helmet. Good job I have a sense of humour and thick skin . Can now confirm it has definitely stopped smelling of exhaust fumes now original tail unit and standard size number plate is fitted.
