    Hello,
has anyone had problems with the SH847 regulator. I ask because I have bought a very low mileage Sprint RS. All the electrics are good and the voltages are fine so I was intending to fit one of these as a remedial action but only if they are a reliable solution.

I also intend to use the Triumph link lead, which I know may create increased resistance but I will ensure all contacts are cleaned and dialectic grease is used on the connectors. This will allow me to keep the original rectifier as a backup.

Thanks. Keep it sunny side up.

No. This is a series regulator. Lauded as the best solution. I have read further on the net since posting and they seem very reliable. The MOSFET types all start FH.
