Yeah BL using a spare seat base, lot cheaper than having one made specially I reckon. Last time I had seat re-upholstered it cost me £45 for a scooped out and hence lowered std seat. Remember its really just getting/shaping the sponge/foam and a good upholsterer can knock these out using any colour rib yer wish. Had my wife's Honda seat done in non slip and chose silver rib. He did it by appointment and whilst we had a coffee at a local Mcdonalds. (one like mine would be a little more obviously. It was on bike when I got it, but bike came with std seat as well, (he told me he found a scrambler seat base and voila). Sorry don't know where.
