While out for a spin the other day I encounter a road block due to a partially collapsed road, there is a way through for pedestrians, but concrete blocks are in place to discourage adventurous drivers, no problem me thinks, and I maneuver my way through them, there then follows an error of judgement and at about 2mph the bike goes over on me on its right hand side.

Apart from bruising my ego and foot the only apparent casualty is the right hand guard which has snapped, after manhandling the bike back up I attempt to set off....but now I have no gears.

The bikes gone over on its right side, the gear leaver is on the left, there is no physical signs of damage to either side of the bike save the right hand protector.

The gear lever moves up or down but makes no attempt to find a gear.

Its got me stumped, has anyone seen or experienced anything like this?

I thought possibly something had taken a hit on the right side of the engine where the clutch is but can't see any damage.

As its the right hand side and right so front brake side of the bars that took the brunt this should not affect the electronics of the clutch on the left side - you would think.

Any insights would be appreciated, the first garage I tried took a looked, sighted full disassembly of the gearbox and said they did not have time to do it - not a great start....now on the quest for another mechanic...
