Apparently thousands of dyslexic South Africans are having a candle-light vigil outside Nissan Main Dealers...

I told myself I wouldn't get involved in political or religious discussions on this board as I've had too many issues on other forums but this I can't let go. It may mean I won't be here for long but some things cannot be allowed to stand.

Sorry Fraser but, like me, I think the rest of the world may well disagree with you now. The man was an inspirational leader. He was locked up for 27 years, abused by the right wing press in this country and others, tortured by the SA government, vilified by Thatcher and other world leaders who only had their eye on power and money yet he came out of it offering forgiveness and bearing no malice. You shouldn't need me to tell you this but he went on to become one of the most influential politicians for peace we have ever seen and we saw apartheid dismantled.

Oh and btw I'm 60 and don't have a short memory.
