My Sons bought this sports cam for their holiday so I thought I would go out for a play. Unfortunately limited mounting options, an elasticated strap strapped to my thigh pointing forwards then back and round my crash helmet. Sound was mainly wind noise with on board mike so had to go out again with camera strategically placed in trouser pocket and inside jacket!! So a mix of sound.

Its my first outing on youtube and the picture has been degraded quite a bit, is this normal? or is there a way around it. I think it is only 720p as the editing freeware only allowed me to edit in that

I think the quality is as good as you can expect from youtube, I'm always disappointed what youtube does to my uploads. I've got a gopro which when I play back at home looks great quality in 1080p, you upload it and it looks crap....... I'm sure they must compress the file.

I've tried the video sharing site Vimio which gives much better results but you have to pay if you want anything over about 4 mins upload a month.

I'm Banditmanuk on youtube (yes I rode a Bandit for years before joining the Triumph club)

You did well with the video.

I have been editing for 20 years and free editing software is dire, if you want to do more then you can pick up some pretty good stuff for about forty quid.

Ebay, there are harnesses available for about a fiver that work OK, they mount the camera in the centre of your chest, whilst on ebay type in SJ2000 and SJ4000 and you will see some small action cam, both work great, I have one each myself. They come with masses of different mounting fittings. I have one fitted to the centre of the TEXs screen and another mount on the crash bars.
