Hi folks just bought a 2005 T100 Bonneville and I've noticed that the Rev counter is very intermittent it works then it doesn't??
I've not received my Haynes manual yet so is there any checks I can do to see what's up I've checked all the fuses all good
    Regards Stuart

I'm not familiar with the Bonneville, however my LCD speedo and analogue rev counter started acting funny ..... just before the bike conked out ... and resulted in a push the bike home :(

issues could be reg/rec ... or maybe something simpler such as a knackered relay

Sounds like a poor electrical connection to me.

With the engine running, remove the plastic shell that covers the back of the tacho. Now start fiddling with each wire in turn whilst watching the tacho. If the poor connection is in the tacho plug, spray it with switch cleaner and leave to dry.

If the problem is not in the back of the tacho, follow the wires to the next connector, clean with switch cleaner, then onto the next etc etc.

I'm sure you'll find this an easy fix.
