well that's the fuse box cover fixed seems the last owner who only did 1200 miles in 3 years managed to break off the fuse box cover top tab.( not the only one looking at other posts on the web) anyway a little bit of stainless steel plate in an L shape blob of glue and 2 small bolts all is now well, you can't beat a bit of fettling . next project is a home made riders backrest. oops looks like I missed the (s) out of fuse in the title
It's possible the previous owner didn't break it as mine simply snapped. Found it hanging off after a day on the motorway. Might be some sort of weakness there if it's happened to others. The dealer replaced mine as it was only 3 months old at the time.
Don't suppose anyone knows the part number do they? I need to get a new one for mine as I snapped it being over enthusiastic
It must be a weak point, I replaced mine on the Speedmaster after my attempted bodge failed I think the part number you need is PFKL2367876 it only cost a tenner from my local dealer although is was 18 months ago. I got the number from www.worldoftriumph.com and selected "Triumph Parts" so might be best to check there first.
